Celebrating the launch of Arboretum Records first compilation release – ‘Welcome to the Arboretum”

All of us here at Arboretum Records are so excited about the imminent release of our first compilation album ‘Welcome to the Arboretum’ that we’ve asked some of the artists featured on the album and a number of other great midlands based artists to play a special acoustic led event – ‘Unplugged’ – at Vienna bar, one of Nottingham’s best live venues on the 31st of May 2009 from 12 onwards.

Those of you who attended our launch night at the Maze at the end of February will agree that the talent from in and around Nottingham is simply staggering, helping to make our first night a massive success. We’re aiming for more of the same from our ‘Unplugged’ gig but with a more acoustic summery vibe! So get yourself down there on the 31st of May, tell your friends, tell the neighbours and get ready for another great day of Notts music.

Tickets

Tickets are available from the Arboretum Records online shop here or alternatively you can pick them up from Vienna directly over the next couple of weeks for the bargain price of £4. A portion of the ticket sales are going to and collection boxes will be available for Jessies Fund, a leading childrens charity. Tickets on the night will be available for £5, still an absolute credit crunch bustin’ bargain for the amount of live original Notts music on offer.
